happy birthday ashton!

As requested - carrot cake with pink frosting and rainbow sprinkle stars.

The coveted roller blades...

Apparently Super Man can't roller blade.

Amidst all the celebrations Mara climbed into the dish washer. She climbs on everything.

Welcome to Chuck-E-Cheese's. Ashton has been determined that he would have his birthday party at Chuck-E-Cheese's and nowhere else. Every time we'd talk about his birthday, or drive by the place, he would go on and on about how he was going to have his birthday party at Chuck-E-Cheese's. I don't know why he wanted it so badly. I don't think he'd ever been there before.

Ironically, Chuck-E-Cheese's was not what he thought it would be. It had these life sized puppet people performing in a band, which scared Ashton. Also, he was afraid of Chuck-E-Cheese himself. He eventually warmed up.
I don't know who that other kid is. He wouldn't move for the picture.

It was a blessed day when Ashton was born. He brings so much love and fun to our family! I can't believe he is five! He's grown up so fast...
We love you Ashton!

I say this every time, but Ashton is HILARIOUS. That kid is just full of surprises. He knows exactly what he wants, and then sometimes he doesn't. It's just so cute. Fabulous cake. Great superman outfit, awesome roller blades.
