Ashton: Alex I'm not little! I'm intermediate!!

Alex (while at the ballet Cinderella - just as the prince appears for the first time): Wow! That guy really likes to show off his...(sideways look at me, long pause) bum.

Mara: Mom I think we should give Milo a different name.
Erin: Like what?
Mara: Marfa
Erin: Martha?
Mara: Yeah, Marfa. That sounds much better (than Milo) doesn't it?

Mara: To be safe we need to stay away from cars and trains. And cowboys and witches. Oh... and coyotes.

Mara: Mom! Why aren't you wearing a dress?
Erin: What?
Mara: Don't you want to be pretty? I'm wearing a dress and I look pretty. You should wear a dress too.
Erin: Sometimes I don't care about looking pretty. Sometimes I just want to look cool.
Mara: Well, you don't look cool. Or awesome. You look weird.
