This is a russian tortoise, which Alex got for his 7th birthday. It's name is Shell-dawn. Yep, that's right. Alex is (still) obsessed with pokemon, and shell-dawn is a pokemon name. We came up with a lot of alternative names, but Alex was determined that it's name would be shell-dawn. Actually, it's name originally was shell-gone, but then Alex decided that the tortoise was a girl, and shell-gone is a boy name (?), so now we have shell-dawn.

Alex had a great time playing baseball this spring. He got to be a really good little baseball player. We all had a fun time going to his games and watching him.
